About Me?
I was born in Shanghai, China in the mist of Culture revolution. In my vague memory, my childhood toys were a few stripped (by me) dolls and a wooden gun. Among my luxurious food menu were little chocolate bars and a daily hard-boiled egg.

Thanks to my parents, I was taught to play piano and violin at age six. Although I did not enjoy the tedious practice, I went along. Today, playing music became enormous pleasure. My secrete childhood passion was doodling and dreaming, haha. I enjoy drawing and was extremely good at geometry.

I breezed through college, got Bachelor of Architecture Degree. I got married after graduation, and soon we decided to come to America.

I was accepted into Georgia Institute of Technology. A year and half later, I graduated with a Master in Architecture. Both of us fell in love with America, and we decided to stay.

We settled in the suburb of Atlanta. I soon got another master degree in computer information systems. I quickly realize I am a good programmer. Plus there is more room to grow in high tech area. I found a great job in corporate America, which is rare.

In 2002, our first child was born, and the second in 2004. Our lives were forever changed. To avoid sending both kids to daycare, Frank, my husband quitted his engineer job for 15 years, and became the stay-home dad and work-at-home dad. He started his photography service business so that he can work from home. He was always an artist inside. Going into photography is natural to him. Now he finally found his dream come true through his work in photography. The studio was soon made name in the region. His work has been published in many magazines in the States and in Shanghai. He held seminars and gave lectures on photojournalist photography. You can find his work at www.frankchenphoto.com. He is a dedicated father and doing extremely well with kids.
