1.    Make sure if your computer's sound system is working, and volume turned on, not muted.
2.    Follow the link on PowerFlashCard website to Microsoft download site. Download all the necessary components.
3.    Double click each of the download to install all of them.
4.    In PowerFlashCard, select the proper language for speech output.

There are two versions of PowerFlashCard for download, one is for Windows 95/98/XP, another one is for Windows NT/2000. Make sure to download the right one for your operating system.

They are structured text files read by PowerFlashCard. You can open/edit these files with PowerFlashCard.

When showing the math dot cards, there is a little gray number showing on the upper left corner of the screen. It is acting as a prompt for adult to recognize the number since it's not easy to count the dots. Currently, the prompt cannot be turned off.

I do not have PowerFlashCard on CD. I want to keep the cost down.

It is caused by a directory used to store pictures has been deleted or moved. Because PowerFlashCard "remembers" the path of the removed directory, it is complaining about couldn't find it. Please follow the steps to fix it before the next release which fix the bug.

1)click Start, and select Run. At Open, type in regedit.
2)you will see Registry Editor, follow this path: My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PowerFlashCard\Options in the left panel. In the right hand side panel, find currdirpic, currdirmath, and currdirread under Name. Highlight it, and right click, select delete. Select View/Refresh, and check to make sure the key is deleted.
3)now run PFC.
